The heart of The Cornhole Challenge has always ensured that worthy organizations have the resources they need to make a significant difference for our neighbors in the communities where we live and work. At Van Metre, we are invested in making Northern Virginia a better place by giving our time, energy, and resources to the people we serve. 

For over a decade, Van Metre has supported local non-profits through the annual Cornhole Challenge. The 2024 event benefitted Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building strength, stability, dignity, and hope through affordable housing. The funds raised went directly towards providing ten new townhomes for our neighbors in need. Of these, eight townhomes are committed to low-income families through Habitat for Humanity’s homeownership program, and two are dedicated to HomeStretch’s Sacred Homes program, supporting families transitioning out of homelessness.
