A TRADITION SINCE 2012

For over a decade, the Van Metre Cornhole Challenge has raised funds to strengthen housing access across our local community. In 2025, we committed the event's fundraising permanently to veteran housing, partnering first with HeroHomes, an organization that builds homes for those who fought to preserve freedom and democracy for others.

That commitment is already at work. Last year, funds raised through the Challenge helped complete one home and purchase three new lots for future HeroHomes builds. This year, we're continuing that momentum with another donation of proceeds.

Our giving doesn't stop there. Van Metre has a long history of partnering with organizations like HomeAid and Habitat for Humanity to support housing for individuals and families across Northern Virginia. This year, we're building on that legacy with a new program to donate a home outright.

Every dollar raised from this year's Cornhole Challenge will go directly to HeroHomes. As a thank-you for playing, all players who register and play all their scheduled rounds will be eligible to receive an exclusive 1.5% Friends & Family credit toward the purchase of a new Van Metre home.
